Helix Kapital divests its stake in Heda Security
Helix Kapital has entered into an agreement to divest its ownership in Heda Security to EMK Capital. During Helix’ ownership period, Heda has experienced strong profitable growth driven by organic initiatives coupled with a dedicated buy and build strategy, thereby positioning the company as the market leader in Sweden.
With EMK Capital as new majority owner, Heda will join forces with Garda Sikring (“Garda”) and Kibo Security Group (“Kibo”), who are also backed by EMK Capital, to strengthen their position within perimeter security solutions in the Nordics.
Heda Security is the leading installation and service provider within perimeter security solutions in Sweden. The group has a particular focus on the high security segment, providing mechanical and technical security solutions to customers within critical infrastructure, correctional facilities, power plants, logistics, and industrial sites. Headquartered in Nyköping, Heda employs some 200 individuals across Sweden and Finland.
Heda, together with Garda and Kibo, will become the distant market leader within perimeter security in the Nordics. The combined group will have a turnover of more than EUR 200m and some 750 employees with presence in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
