Holms Industri AB ("Holms"), Europe's leading manufacturer of road maintenance tools, has acquired Helix Kapital ("Helix") as a new majority owner. The current management team remains in place and will, together with Helix as an active owner, pursue a strategy of accelerated expansion and product development.
Holms was founded in 1927 and develops, manufactures and sells tools for the ongoing maintenance of roads and industrial outdoor surfaces. The company has developed innovative products and is an international leader in several product niches. In recent years, Holms has shown good organic growth and today has a turnover of approximately SEK 100 million with sales in the Nordic region, the rest of Europe, America and Asia. The company is headquartered in Motala and has approximately 50 employees.
In addition to the main shareholder Helix, Holm's senior executives also invest in the company.

Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
