L5 Navigation, a portfolio company of Helix Kapital, acquires ROCKMA System
L5 Navigation, a leading provider of high-precision machine control solutions and GNSS-technology, accelerates its growth journey through the acquisition of ROCKMA System AB.
L5 Navigation has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in ROCKMA System AB. ROCKMA specializes in rock characterization and develops proprietary machine control software for drill rigs, monitoring systems and real-time rock analysis systems. ROCKMA was founded in 1999 and has installed over hundreds of systems in the global mining industry as well as in infrastructure segments such as tunneling, geotechnical analysis and rock mining.
With the acquisition in place, L5 Navigation will further enhance its offering with a proprietary software suite in the special machinery area while establishing global growth in mining and infrastructure. The management team of ROCKMA, headed by Patric Mårtensson, will continue to lead the business and become a shareholder in the L5 Group.

Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
